Here I am again - asking for your help and generosity...
This time it's in my role for Ormiston Families, supporting the children and families of offenders at HMP Norwich. [See brief summary attached if you are unfamiliar with what we do here.)
As some of you will be aware, St Michael's church in Aylsham has been a great supporter of our work with the families for many years. Each year in December they hold a Gift-Giving service in which members of the congregation donate gifts for us to give the children visiting the centre over Christmas; for some children this will be the only present they receive.
We have also, once again, been invited to have a stall at the church Christmas Fair this year and we are looking for donations to be able to sell at the Fair to raise funds for the extra activities that we run for 'our' children and families.
So.....if any of you are keen bakers, picklers, jam or chutney makers and could donate any of your produce (or you know someone else who would be willing), or you are a crafter and make wonderful creations, we would be very grateful to you. Pickles, jams and chutneys could be dropped off to us any time you are in (or passing), but cakes would need to be brought in much nearer the time, ideally one or two days before.
We would also be really grateful for any good quality items that you could donate - eg books, sealed toiletries, unwanted gifts, Christmas decorations, etc etc).
The Fair will be taking place on Monday 30 November. Ormiston staff will be more than happy to receive any donated items at any time up to the 29th - the Centre is staffed every day (including weekends) except for Mondays and Fridays.

If you think you could donate something, it would be helpful to know so that we can have an idea of what we are likely to be able to take.
