The Festival runs 11 – 27 May 2018.
Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2018 opened this evening in spectacular style, transforming the city centre with a large scale street procession and aerial display. As the sun set on Norwich, Transe Express, a company of carnivalesque drummers, took to the streets alongside larger than life opera singing dolls, parading through the city, turning Norwich into a fantastical open-air opera house and culminating in an astonishing aerial finale high above the Forum.
